Environmentally friendly lighting is typically dimmable and can come with blue light depletion in order to decrease reactions of insects and animals to light.
In more remote locations, solar powered lighting can be a useful cost-saving option. Solar powered light sources do not require trenching for electrical conduits, saving labor, time, and cost upfront. This type of solution can qualify projects for LEED points and other solar energy incentives.
