Friendly Center Exterior LED Lighting Upgrade

Located in Greensboro, NC, Friendly Center is an open-air shopping and retail center with 145 stores. The shopping center includes stores such as Apple, Whole Foods, Macy’s, Regal Cinemas, and Build-A-Bear Workshop.

In 2022, Friendly Center was ready to upgrade their property. WLS Lighting created a value engineered lighting site plan and proposal for all new LED are lighting with site lighting controls. A total of 391 area fixtures were removed and 261 area fixtures were installed in their place. The new site lighting fixtures utilized the existing site lighting parking lot poles.

Friendly Center is now outfitted with our exclusive site lighting controls, netLiNK Controls. The netLiNK Controls System provides customers with complete insight and control of their site lighting and significantly reduces maintenance and utility costs by way of dimming the LED lighting fixtures. Users have visibility into their entire portfolio of lighting systems from any smart device at any time.
