All Saints Catholic School Interior LED Lighting Upgrade

The challenges at All Saints Catholic School included dark lighting in the school gym, dim lighting in the front foyer, and high maintenance incandescent bulbs in the school’s Chapel. Our goals in the gym and front foyer were to increase the light levels and replace the 500W incandescent bulbs within the Chapel with LED replacements to reduce maintenance. In order to meet these goals, the school partnered with WLS Lighting to upgrade or retrofit all lighting fixtures.

The gym and front foyer’s previous lighting were a mix of halogen and metal halide fixtures. For these rooms, a complete LED lighting upgrade was done which involved removing the old fixtures and installing new energy-efficient LED fixtures. The school’s chapel overhead fixtures were incandescent bulbs that frequently burnt out. The chapel’s lighting fixtures are about 16 feet high, so maintenance was cumbersome. Retrofitting the existing fixtures with LED bulbs will ultimately reduce energy usage and reduce maintenance.
